I just love a good gelatin especially when you add some creamy goodness to the mix! In this Not only are these lime jello cups tasty, they are also a perfect St. Patrick’s day treat. Recipe Author: ShaniFay - Sweet Tooth Boutique, LLC Ingredients Jello Layer 1 box lime gelatin 6oz 2 cups boiling water 2 cups cold water Cream Layer 1 Box lime gelatin 6oz 2 Cups boiling water 2 cups cold evaporated milk Instructions In a mixing bowl, stir in 1 cup boiling water to the lime gelatin until dissolved, then stir in the cold water. Divide half of the mixture evenly among your cups. Cover the remaining mixture for the next layer. Keep at room temperature. Place the cups in the fridge to set. In a mixing bowl, stir in 1 cup boiling water to the lime gelatin until dissolved, then stir in the cold evaporated milk. Once your jello is set, pour in half of the creamy layer, making the layer as thin or as thick as you desire. You can reserve the leftover cream mixture to add an additional layer or allow it to set separately. (It’s yummy all on its own trust me!) Once the cream layer is set, add the next jello layer. Feel free to add another creamy layer, and such going forward. Garnish each jello cup with a healthy dollop of cool whip and add some green sprinkles and you’re all set! (All pun intended) Note: If the gelatin mixture sets while you’re waiting for the jello to set, simply warm it up on the stove over low heat until it’s returned to a liquid form.

For St. Patrick’s Day this year I’m craving all things mint and chocolate. So it would only be fitting to whip up a batch of these delicious mint chocolate chip cookies! These cookies are chewy on the inside with a slight crisp on the outside. They are chocked full of mint chocolate chips and Andes candies for that perfectly minty and chocolatey flavor. Don’t skip out on the Andes candies they really are the star of the show here! I’ve never really been one for mint chocolate. It’s not that I didn’t like it. It was just never my go to dessert. But these cookies have changed my mind! In fact I find myself wanting to bake a fresh batch everyday since I can’t seem to keep them around longer than thirty minutes! I’m sure you will love these as much as my family and I have! Happy St. Patty’s Day!! 💚 Recipe Prep Time: 20 minutes Bake Time: 10 minutes Total Time: 30 minutes Servings: 15-20 cookies Author: ShaniFay - Sweet Tooth Boutique, LLC 1 1/2 cup All Purpose Flour 1 teaspoon Baking Soda 1/4 teaspoon Salt 1/2 cup salted butter (softened) 1/2 cup Brown sugar (Packed) 1/4 cup granulated Sugar 1 Large Egg 1/2 teaspoon pure peppermint extract 1/2 cup mint chocolate chips 1/2 cup Andes Candies (chopped) 1/2 cup Mint M&Ms Instructions Preheat oven to 350°F. Line two baking sheets with parchment paper. In a small bowl combine flour, baking soda and salt. Set aside. In a large bowl, using a hand mixer or stand mixer, beat butter and both sugars for 1-2 minutes, scraping the bowl as needed. Add egg and peppermint extract and beat until well combined. Add the flour mixture in 2 parts, beating until just combined. Add 1 cup of mint chips/Andes/chocolate chips/sprinkles (the rest will be reserved for topping the cookies). Scoop golf ball sized portions of dough (approximately 2 tablespoons) and place them a couple inches apart on the cookie sheets. Using the remaining ½ cup mix-ins, top each ball of dough with a few chips/candies (this makes for a picture perfect cookie). Bake the cookies for 7-10 minutes until the edges are just beginning to turn golden brown and the very center is still slightly underdone. Rotate the baking sheets halfway through cooking time, if necessary. Place the baking sheets on wire racks and allow the cookies to cool completely. Making bows are one of my favorite things to craft. The creative possibilities with bow making are endless. Whether you decide to use one ribbon or multiple ribbons, bows always seem to add that little extra to a craft project, especially wreaths! When it comes to making bows I have absolutely fallen in love with the EZ Bow Maker. I will admit that my initial experience with the EZ Bow Maker wasn't all roses. I wasn't sure how to use it or how to keep the pegs in the holes. Let's chalk it up to user error 😉. However, with a little bit of gorilla wood glue and a hammer I'm making bows like crazy! April 1st officially kicks off Autism Awareness Month which has inspired the bow in the video below. If you want to see how I made this bow check out the video and if you want to see how I used this bow in a wreath, click the link to visit my YouTube channel. If you have any questions let me know in the comment section below and I'd be glad to answer them. Happy bow Making! You’ve Got This! I love making wreaths! For me it's completely relaxing and the perfect outlet for my creativity. I bet you wouldn't not have guessed that prior to December 2019 I actually had no idea how to make a wreath. Unlike now, I wasn't well versed on the various types of wreath forms or the different types of deco mesh, or even the multitude of bows you can make or embellishments you can use to enhance a wreath and the specialty stores that sell these products. But today, as I write this post knowing all that I know about the art of wreath making, one of my favorite places to buy wreath supplies is a magical place called the Dollar Tree! From the floral selection to the seasonal decor, there is always something at the Dollar Tree that can be transformed into a unique work of art. So imagine my delight when I received an email notifying me that Dollar Tree was having a Spring Wreath Competition. Ooh I love a good competition! So naturally I decided to participate. In the video below I'll show you exactly how I made this gorgeous Spring Wreath using ONLY dollar tree products! That's right! You read that correctly! This wreath was made using ONLY products purchased at the Dollar Tree! I will be sure to leave a list below of all the items I used and links to make your life a bit easier. As always if you have any questions please feel free to leave them in the comment section down below and I'd be happy to answer them! Happy Crafting...You’ve Got This! Chocolate and fresh strawberries? Yes, please! I love a good sweet treat, especially if its an easy sweet treat and these chocolate dipped strawberries fit the bill. Honestly, I could make chocolate dipped strawberries to suit every season but these couldn't be more perfect for an Easter treat! PREP. No one likes eating dirt right? No, I didn't think so. You would be surprised at how much dirt is in one pint of strawberries. Best practice is to begin by washing your strawberries. I use a solution of one part vinegar to eight parts warm water. After their cleansing bath, rinse the strawberries with cool water. Place them on a clean paper towel or tea towel and pat gently to dry. Prepare a surface for your strawberries by lining a cookie sheet or cutting board with parchment paper. Don't forget skewers! Trust me the skewers really come in handy when dipping the strawberries. MELT. Using a microwave, heat the Candy Melts in 15 second intervals, stirring between each interval. Be sure to use a microwave safe cup or bowl. I use 14 oz. Luminarc working glasses that you can find here. When the candy melts are smooth and create thin ribbons, you know you have the right consistency. DIP. Make sure your cup or bowl are deep enough for easy dipping. Insert a skewer just left or right of the strawberry stem. Gather up the strawberry leaves around the skewer and slowly lower the strawberry into the melted chocolate. I like to cover as much of the strawberry as possible...even the little white part. To me make the finished product look more professional. Gently tap off the excess chocolate and place the dipped strawberry onto the parchment paper. If you don't remove the excess chocolate you’ll end up with a puddle of chocolate under your strawberry. Might taste good but I doubt that's the look you’re going for. Allow the chocolate to harden at room temperature. Doing this will prevent condensation. DRIZZLE. It's drizzle time! Grab a cup and line it with a piping bag. Pour the remaining chocolate into the piping bag and remove from the cup. Holding the point upwards cut a small opening at the tip. Holding the piping bag upward will prevent the chocolate from running out. Start drizzling just to the left or right of the strawberry and apply slight pressure to the piping bag. In a steady motion go side to side across the strawberry. Allow the chocolate to continue cooling at room temperature. PUDDIN’. Although, they are completely adorable, we can't just stop at the strawberries. Let's take it one step further. Crush 8-10 oreo cookies and set aside. Make one packet of chocolate pudding according the package instructions. You can choose to separate the pudding into individual cup servings or you can use one larger dish. If you decide to make individual servings, sprinkle the top generously with the crushed oreo sprinkles. Nestle the strawberry carrot on top and add some spring sprinkles if you choose. If you'd rather a large serving dish then sprinkle the crushed oreos generously across the top and add the strawberry carrots in rows. This will give the appearance of a carrot garden! Cute right? I thought so too! Feel free to add sprinkles here too. 😉 INGREDIENTS 12 Oz Orange Candy Melts 6 Strawberries If you would like to use these delicious chocolate “carrots” as pudding cup toppers, you will need the following... Chocolate “Carrot” Pudding Cups Chocolate Pudding Mix Crushed Oreo Cookies Milk Easter Sprinkles...As many as you like! Piping Bags https://www.walmart.com/ip/Great-Value-Disposable-Decorating-Bags-8-Count/10315374 Tips and Tricks 1. Using skewers gives a better grip in the strawberry. This allows you to make off any excess chocolate. No excess chocolate means no chocolate “pooling” at the base of the strawberry, a thin chocolate crunch and a neater final product! 2. Melt your candy melts 15 seconds at a time and stir between intervals. Trust me you don't want to go too fast and burn your candy melts! Let's Be Social! Cupcakes are by far my favorite edible canvases. There are so many possibilities when it comes to cupcake decorating. And as far as Easter treats, these easy coconut cupcakes have become a favorite in my household. Simply whip up a batch of your favorite vanilla cupcakes and some creamy dreamy buttercream. Now comes the fun part! In a small ziploc bag, combine one cup of shredded coconut and 3-4 drops of green food color. Shake, shake, shake until the coconut is thoroughly coated. And just like that you have coconut grass! You can color your buttercream green to match or leave it white. Start with adding a teaspoon of the coconut grass to your cupcake and add more as desired. Finish off your easter treat with three speckled jelly beans and viola! You’re done! Ingredients 1 Cup Coconut Flakes 3-4 drops Green Food Coloring 9 oz Speckled Jelly Beans Let's Be Social!
